Just picked up a set of 18” Work Meister S1 style wheels (5×114.3 / 5×120) from Nelson Auto Parts Shop and I’ve been running them for a bit now, so here’s my honest review.
First off — the look is exactly what I was going for. The classic 5-spoke Meister design is timeless and gives the car a clean but aggressive stance. Once mounted, they completely changed the overall appearance of the car and definitely turn heads.
Fitment-wise, having both 5×114.3 and 5×120 is super convenient if you’re running different setups or planning to switch platforms. They sat pretty well on my setup with no major issues, and the sizing gives a nice flush look depending on your tire choice.
Quality is solid for a “style” wheel. Obviously they’re not genuine Work Meister S1s, but for the price, I wasn’t expecting that. The finish looks good, no major imperfections out of the box, and they balance fine. As long as you’re not expecting full forged/JDM quality, they definitely deliver for a budget-friendly option.
Driving feel is good — no vibrations, and they feel sturdy for daily driving. I wouldn’t push them too hard on track, but for street use and show builds, they do the job well.
