I recently installed the Invidia N2 Catback Exhaust on my 2021 Subaru BRZ, and it completely transformed the car.
First thing you notice is the sound. The N2 has a deep, aggressive tone that really brings the car to life without being overly obnoxious. It’s louder than stock for sure, but still very manageable for daily driving. On cold starts it has a strong presence, and once warmed up it settles into a clean, low rumble. When you get on the throttle, it opens up nicely with a sporty growl that makes driving way more enjoyable.
Build quality is solid. The exhaust is made from high-quality stainless steel with clean welds and nice dual tips that give the rear end a much more aggressive look. Everything lined up well with OEM hangers, and the install was pretty straightforward overall.
Performance-wise, the car feels a bit more responsive, especially in the mid-range. It’s not a massive power gain, but you can definitely feel improved airflow and a smoother pull through the rev range.
One thing to note—there can be a slight drone at certain RPMs, especially before the exhaust fully breaks in, but it’s not overwhelming and becomes less noticeable over time.
Overall, the Invidia N2 is a great choice if you want a balance between aggressive sound, daily drivability, and quality. It’s a big upgrade from stock and gives the car the personality it should’ve had from the factory.
Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, deep exhaust setup for their FRS/BRZ/86.
