I recently installed the AWE Track Edition Cat-Back Exhaust on my Subaru BRZ, and it completely transformed the car. From the moment I fired it up, the difference was obvious the exhaust delivers a deep, aggressive tone that really brings the car to life without sounding cheap or overly raspy.
Under acceleration, the sound is loud and raw in the best way possible. It gives that true “track-inspired” feel, especially when pushing through higher RPMs. On downshifts and rev matches, it produces some nice pops that add to the overall driving experience. It’s definitely not a quiet setup, so if you’re looking for something subtle, this might not be it but if you want your car to sound like it means business, this exhaust nails it.
The build quality is top-notch, as expected from AWE. The materials feel solid, the welds are clean, and everything lined up perfectly during installation. Fitment was straightforward with no major issues, and the tips sit nicely in the bumper, giving the rear end a more aggressive and finished look.
Performance-wise, the car feels a bit more responsive, especially in the mid to high RPM range. While it’s not a massive horsepower gain on its own, the improved airflow and lighter setup definitely contribute to a more engaging drive.
